High school metal work project. The design is fairly basic with all the parts made from tin cut out and foldered up. First I made a paper model of all the parts then used the paper as a template to mark out the tin.
The software I use to drive it was found on the internet. I can create .plt files in auto CAD then load them in to the plotter program to plot them.

Photo of a plot. You can see the resolution is quite low. Thats is because the pullys on the motors are quite large and the mechanism has play. The play is getting worse the more it is used because it is just sheet tin running on steel rod.
